Please meet Cadence :)

Cadence is approx 15 1/2 inches from head to toe. 
She is made from a long wavy Schulte Mohair in a gorgeous light caramel/blonde in an open mouth design. 
Cadence has a needle felted face and a felted and sealed nose. Her open mouth is premium ultrasuede. 
She has English glass eyes complete with lids,whites and eyelashes. 
Her paws are in a dense white alpaca with trapunto ultrasuede details. 
Cadence is wearing a handmade ribbon and tulle tutu and a paper flower and ribbon head piece.

She is my Preview bear for the "Weird and Wonderful" online show by ebearshow. Voting for the Preview bears closes on the 16th of August and then the show opens on the 21st of August at 4pm (Australian)

Show is Open ....

The Teddies Worldwide Teddy Bear Extravaganza is open now. 
The show started at 4pm US Friday and will go through to 4pm Sunday US time or 7am Sat  to 7am Monday for Australians.

The are 70 bear makers all with between 5 and 10 new bears and some people are offering gift items as well.

I have 6 available bears. My collection is all named after family members this time Parents, Grandparents, Uncles and Cousins.

Some of the bears I have left include

Julian has a locline spine and trapunto toes :)

Lavinia is hand dyed Alpaca and has handmade Wings from Spain

Teddy Bear Extravaganza

The Teddies Worldwide Teddy Bear Extravaganza will be starting this weekend but there is still time to vote on your favourite bear for the Collectors Choice.

my Preview bear this time is David, who is named after my father.

Please head over to Teddies Worldwide to see the lovely preview bears and then don't forget to head back again at 4pm Friday (US time)  to see all the bears from all the artists.

I loved looking at all the bears, it made Christmas seem very close to see all the bears looking so "Christmassy"  

Next weekend I am going to a local village market in Stokers siding Hall so I am off to make a few Christmassy things and a few terry towelling sheep  :)

Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am a BAD Blogger :(

I can"t believe how quickly the whole year has flashed by, it has been a "blink and you missed it" kind of a year.

Anyway the reason for my post today was to remind everyone that the Teddies Worldwide Christmas Treasures Preview has started. 

There are 75(ish) preview bears in the theme of Sparkle and Shine, waiting for your votes.

My preview bear is Noel.

He is 15 inches tall and made of a lovely long white Mohair.
