Christmas ~Preview for Teddies Worldwide On Line Show

Hi,
Just a quick reminder that the Teddies worldwide On Line Christmas Show is opening on Friday afternoon at 4pm (US time) or first thing Saturday morning for us Aussies :)

If you haven't dropped by yet, please go and have a look and vote for your favourite preview bears before voting closes on Thursday (US)

Christmas Treasures Online Preview

Hi,
Just a quick reminder that the Teddies Worldwide Online Show Preview starts tomorrow - 4pm Friday 6th Nov (US time) which I think works out to Saturday morning Australian time :)
lots of lovely bears to see and you can vote for your favourites.

Please meet Cadence :)

Cadence is approx 15 1/2 inches from head to toe. 
She is made from a long wavy Schulte Mohair in a gorgeous light caramel/blonde in an open mouth design. 
Cadence has a needle felted face and a felted and sealed nose. Her open mouth is premium ultrasuede. 
She has English glass eyes complete with lids,whites and eyelashes. 
Her paws are in a dense white alpaca with trapunto ultrasuede details. 
Cadence is wearing a handmade ribbon and tulle tutu and a paper flower and ribbon head piece.

She is my Preview bear for the "Weird and Wonderful" online show by ebearshow. Voting for the Preview bears closes on the 16th of August and then the show opens on the 21st of August at 4pm (Australian)

Teddy Bears and Friends On Vacation.....

At the moment the Teddy Bears and Friends on Vacation On line Show is in full swing at www.teddiesworldwide.com

There are lots of lovely bears available from a lot of artist from all over the world ~ it's definitely worth a look :)

Show is Open ....

The Teddies Worldwide Teddy Bear Extravaganza is open now. 
The show started at 4pm US Friday and will go through to 4pm Sunday US time or 7am Sat  to 7am Monday for Australians.

The are 70 bear makers all with between 5 and 10 new bears and some people are offering gift items as well.

I have 6 available bears. My collection is all named after family members this time Parents, Grandparents, Uncles and Cousins.

Some of the bears I have left include

Julian has a locline spine and trapunto toes :)

Lavinia

Lavinia is hand dyed Alpaca and has handmade Wings from Spain

Teddy Bear Extravaganza

The Teddies Worldwide Teddy Bear Extravaganza will be starting this weekend but there is still time to vote on your favourite bear for the Collectors Choice.

my Preview bear this time is David, who is named after my father.

Please head over to Teddies Worldwide to see the lovely preview bears and then don't forget to head back again at 4pm Friday (US time)  to see all the bears from all the artists.

I loved looking at all the bears, it made Christmas seem very close to see all the bears looking so "Christmassy"  

Next weekend I am going to a local village market in Stokers siding Hall so I am off to make a few Christmassy things and a few terry towelling sheep  :)

There are lots of gorgeous bears waiting to be seen at www.teddiesworldwide.com  just click on the photo of the bear from the artist you wish to look at and their show page will open so you can see all the bears and gifts from that artist.

Hello my name is .....

Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am a BAD Blogger :(

I can"t believe how quickly the whole year has flashed by, it has been a "blink and you missed it" kind of a year.

Anyway the reason for my post today was to remind everyone that the Teddies Worldwide Christmas Treasures Preview has started. 

There are 75(ish) preview bears in the theme of Sparkle and Shine, waiting for your votes.

My preview bear is Noel.

He is 15 inches tall and made of a lovely long white Mohair. 

I hope you enjoy the preview :)
I will be back again soon......  definitely sooner than last time :)

yes, the Teddies Worldwide show is all over now....... I had a lovely time looking at all the bears and some of mine found new homes.

I'd like to say a very big thank you to all the people that came and looked and sent lovely emails and a huge thank you to the wonderful people that chose to have one of my bears come and live with them ~

The bears that didn't find homes over the weekend, will be finding their way to Bear Pile soon :)

 

A big thank you also to Daphne and Frank who run the Teddies Worldwide shows !

 

 



And now, I am going back to bear making ~ I have a lion to finish :)

Please go along and choose your favourite miniature bear, full size bear and the bear of show. You can vote by clicking on the artists name, then the votes will be tallied and the winners will be announced at the opening of the show.

She is made with a hand dyed pink, long, wavy mohair which has the most gorgeous sheen to it :)

I haven't been around much as I have been accepted for the Teddies Worldwide Bear Extravaganza to be held in March :) so I have been sewing , sewing, sewing !

I will have ten new bears that are exclusively for the show and the preview bears will be on line on the 7th of March, when you can choose and vote for your favourite.

Hi everyone,
I can't believe that I completely missed posting in Dec :(  I hope everyone had a great Christmas and you are all enjoying January. It's also hard to believe that January is half gone.

We had a lovely Christmas with family and for the first time in 8 months our second son was home from Darwin.

I made Duck Dynasty style beanies and beards for all the men in the family. This is Dan, Angus, Rob (husband) and my Dad wearing theirs' on Christmas day. Connor came home after Christmas so he has his own photo :)

Work room and BonBon.......

Hi,

Finally here are some photos of my long awaited Workroom.
I absolutely love having a room all of my own, where I can leave stuff all over the table to come back to later if I want to and everything is within easy reach and organised !!

 Well, organised but maybe not neat lol.

 This room is on our front verandah so it is long and narrow. But it fits most of my stuff and a work table and a wardrobe full of mohair :) and is full of light and breeze. It's hard work to come out and clean the rest of the house because I really enjoy the time in "MY" room ..... lol

The Teddies Worldwide Christmas Treasures Online Show is closed now. I had a great show and "met" lots of new collectors. Thank you to those collectors that adopted Bears and Bunnies !!!

The bears and bunnies that haven't fond new homes yet will be appearing on Bear Pile in the near future :)
